services from Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airports, (Kenya
Airways and Air Kenya). Five minutes from Ukunda Airstrip, for private
charters and a daily service to & from the Maasai Mara and 3
times per week for direct flights from Wilson airport Nairobi.

DESCRIPTION: Considered
by many as one of the finest private houses on the Kenyan Coast,
Alfajiri overlooks the Indian Ocean and it's elevated position ensures
privacy and stunning views. The theme is large glass windows, ivory
Danish floors, wooden beams, Lamu doors and impressive African and
Far Eastern Artefacts. Most of the furniture is made on the property
and some is exported. The gardens are meticulously maintained and
include many palms from Alfajiri's nursery. Two large gazebos with
huge hand carved sofas with cushions dominate the front of the house.
A stretch swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging
into the sea and the horizon. Diani Beach is considered one of the
best in Kenya and it is possible to walk for 5 miles to the north
and 5 miles to the south.
NUMBER OF ROOMS: 8 guests can be accommodated in 4 bedrooms. all en-suite, dining room, kitchen, lounge and a large veranda over looking the Indian Ocean. For larger groups the MAIN HOUSE is available in addition to Alfajiri. This has a master bedroom with 270-degree stunning view on the ocean, Jacuzzi and four additional rooms.
ROOM AMENITIES: All rooms, excluding the master bedroom are air conditioned with mosquito nets. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. (3 double rooms + 2 single rooms).
SPECIAL FEATURE: Guests at Alfajiri have exclusive use of the property. No other guest, belonging to another group, will be booked at the same time.

CUISINE: Fresh seafood is brought twice daily to order from the beach and includes some of the best crab, prawns, lobster, octopus and sea fish available. The food at Alfajiri is very healthy with a Mediterranean influence with oils, Parma ham and some cheeses flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables come daily from local farms and the fruit is hand-picked from trees and bushes around Diani. The Molinaros will easily adapt the menus to suit the guests.
