Kenya Wonderland Tours
Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi for Maasai Mara, passing through the great
Rift Valley, an area of outstanding scenic beauty. Arrive in time
for lunch at Lodge. Late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight
at your Lodge.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
Full day game reserve. Dinner and overnight at one of the numerous
luxury lodges that are to be found in this fabulous game sanctuary.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Half day game drive. Lunch at your Lodge. Afternoon nature trail
or walk which is optional. A visit to Maasai Village. An exciting
moment to experience cultural contact. Folk love songs and dances
to give lasting memories of your Africa safari. A small fee into
the village is charged at your expense.
Day 4: Maasai Mara - Nakuru
Early Morning game drive. Back to Lodge for breakfast. Depart Maasai
Mara for Lake Nakuru. Picnic lunch is partaken en route. Afternoon
viewing of the thousands of Flamingoes that give the Lake Nakuru
a pink color. An overwhelming feeling of natural beauty will grip
you. Bird watchers will feast their eyes on more 340 different species
of birds. Dinner and overnight at your lakeside Lodge
Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
Normal time breakfast. Depart for Lake Naivasha. Arrive
in time for Lunch at one of the Lake Naivasha lodges. In the afternoon
an Optional boat ride at lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake on the
floor of the Great Rift Valley at an additional fee, Or alternatively
go to visit Hell's Gate National Park and view the natural electric
power generated from a geothermal plant. Dinner and overnight in
your luxury resort.
Day 6: Lake Naivasha - Mt. Kenya
After breakfast, depart for Mt. Kenya. The journey offers
thrilling moments as the sprawling slopes of majestic Mt. Kenya,
clothed in a blanket of green vegetation and wildlife offers vistas
that are some of the highlights of your visit. Arrive in time for
Lunch. Afternoon, time to visit the famous Mau Mau cares, that offered
safety to Kenyan freedom fighters during our struggle for independence.
Dinner and overnight at your mountain-side Lodge.
Day 7: Mt. Kenya - Samburu
After morning breakfast, depart for Samburu, through Isiolo
town. Wildlife not found in the South are here at Samburu / Shaba
Game Reserve. Expect to see Somali, Ostrich, Grevy's Zebra, the
reticulated giraffe and Gerenuk Gazelle. Stopovers to catch exciting
sights while on the way. Lunch en route/ Camp site or Lodge. Late
afternoon game drive optional or rest. Dinner and overnight at a
luxury lodge or luxury tented camp in the park.
Day 8: Full Day Samburu
Breakfast and morning game drives. Lunch at the lodge or Luxury
Tented Camp. Afternoon game drive, experiencing world's most spectacular
and exciting terrain. The sight of animals drinking by the banks
of the beautiful Uaso Nyiro River is a sight to behold. Dinner and
overnight at a luxury lodge or luxury tented camp in the park.
Day 9: Samburu - Nairobi
Breakfast and morning game drives then
leave this unique game park and drive past the equator to Nairobi
with lunch en route ariving in the Kenyan capital in the mid afternoon.
